Great Sound for the radio and cd player and easy to use. Bought as a gift and now ready to buy one for us!
looks nice on the outside, but December 21, 2009 bizyz aka (Milwaukee,WI USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
the teac table radio from the outside appears to be of good build quality and has decent sound coming from the enclosed speakers.cd operation has been trouble free to date.however, when switched to battery power the unit would not operate.fm reception was fine but when switching to the am band the static was so bad that the am was unlistenable.connecting the supplied am antenna had no effect.my forty dollar radio shack crank radio has no such issues with battery operation or radio reception.
Buyer Beware December 14, 2009 Julie Barnett 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
After doing my homework and reading customer reviews, it seemed like this was a great choice for good sound and quality. I have had it about a week and have played CD's several times. Yesterday (my Christmas party) it would not play CD's. Called Teac today, they suggest sending it in for repair. The repair shop they recommended in my area is no longer in business. Very disappointing and frustrating. The item is also out of stock, so I can't even re-order. Guess that's a sign to be done with Teac products for good. What a hassle. Amazon was a great help with return instructions, as usual.

Good to fair sound with some difficulty locking into FM stations. Unfortunately, the AM/FM radio burned out on the third playing.
