Best in laptop computers December 31, 2008 Roy Quiros Ruiz (Costa Rica) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Toshiba is the best in laptop computers, my first laptop is a Toshiba, and with 5 years of use it is still running like new, I just replaced it with this one to be updated and I have no complains about it, it is even better than the first one. And what about the price, it is a bargain!!!
Great laptop a great price December 29, 2008 M. Torres (Chicago, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this laptop for Christmas and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The wireless n card works great, and even though I'm no Windows Vista fan, it loads very fast and didn't come preloaded with 100s of annoying free trials. The webcam and microphone work great and the extra effects you can add to the webcam are creative and funny. My sister got a kick out of it. It's a little heavier than usual and it does get a bit warm but nothing that will burn your legs off. I recommend this purchase. Great for the price.

Great laptop for a great price! December 29, 2008 Walton R. Collins (Chicago, IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a laptop to supplement my aging desktop. I download a lot of music and wanted a decent size hard drive. Larger hard drives tended to increase the price and I was pleased to find the Toshiba L305 because of it's larger hard drive (320 GB)at a hard to beat price. The 4 GB RAM, and the Dual Core processor make the Toshiba fast and efficient. The 15.4 screen is bright and clear. It is a fairly large and heavy for a laptop, but I mostly use it at home, so it is perfect for me. I was also pleased with the service from Amazon. It came quickly and was easy to set up out of the box. For the price and features, I don't think this laptop can be beat.
Looks Fine to Me. December 28, 2008 Nathan Grammatico (Nate) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've owned this laptop for about two months, and i don't have many complaints. One person complained that the laptop gets hot, and it does, but not to the point that it can't go on your lap, and All laptops get hot at times. The person also mentioned that the keyboard was cheap, and after a while you had to press the keys with all your might for them to display on the screen. That doesn't happen to me at all, i'm using it right now. The only problems i have are with the track-pad. When you are using it, sometimes when you move to click something, it freezes on spot, and doesn't move for about a minute or two, which is a little weird, and annoying at times. The battery says that it lasts for 3 1/2 hours when its fully charged, but it doesn't seem to last that long. But who knows? I might just be loosing track of time. I do wish that the battery could have lasted longer. Maybe that is unheard of in Laptops, but i wish the battery had more endurance. The Laptop comes with a build in microphone and webcam. The microphone is very clear, better than what you would get usually at the computer store ( without spending $60 ). The webcam is a little laggy, but that is to be expected with a webcam smaller than a fingernail. Although they aren't the latest and greatest installments, they are a nice touch, considering most laptops don't even provide them. I'll touch on the memory. It has 4GB Ram, and a 320GB hard-drive. Something to mention is that it only really comes with 296GB's, which is 24GB's less than 320. You are still left with a lot of memory nonetheless. The compter isn't going to run slow, This would seriously last you a really long time. It should also be Good enough for a large game like Microsoft's Flight Simulator X. The computer comes with Windows Vista Premium. For some reason a lot of people don't like it. Coming fro XP home edition, i love it, and think it's much better, and looks visually more appealing. I have no problems with Vista, i think it's a great system. The menus are bigger, brighter, and easier to go through. The body of the Laptop is plastic ( the front anyway ) and is is very easy to scratch, and get dust on. There is already a scratch on mine, but i guess that vulnerability is to be expected with most laptops. If you buy a case that can open, and leave it in there, there shouldn't be a problem with that. The laptop was only $699 when i bought it, it was from amazon.com, the seller. I don't know why the price has gone up so high from this other dealer. Seriously, it is not worth the $850 that it is costing through Techno intelligence. This is a Very good laptop, with one or two personal complaints. I recommend it. It is a very good laptop.
