This laptop has AVG Free Antivirus and Antispyware software loaded which is available on the internet free of charge. This package is one of the best freeware packages available and does an extremely good job of protecting your computer system from Viruses, Adware, and Spyware. This system also has another freeware software package called OpenOffice V3.0. This is an office productivity suite, similar to Microsoft Office, but with no cost associated. It provides the user with Word Processing, Spreadsheet, Database Management, Graphics Package, and a package similar to Powerpoint. OpenOffice is also fully compatible with reading and writing Microsoft Office documents. Adobe Acrobat Reader, Adobe Flash Player, Power DVD, and Nero 7 Essentials are also loaded for your convenience. PowerDVD allows you to watch DVD movies, and Nero 7 Essentials allows you to create and burn CD and DVD disks. This system also has integrated wireless B capability, which has a speed of 11-MBps. This system has 1-GB of RAM, 30-GB Hard Drive, a 56K modem, 2-USB Ports, a 14.1-inch display, and a CD/DVD player for playing music CD's and DVD movies.
