This wasn't a fantastic laptop, though it covers my needs. It's a great deal faster than my current desktop, which I got in middle school. However, wi-fi card that was supposed to be included never got installed, my modem didn't have any drivers installed, usb 2 was actually usb 1.1, ps/2 port doesn't work, and the video cable and moniter power cable both tend to get unplugged, as neither is really secured to the housing/case/motherboard. The battery charger included was on recall for a good time, and the battery included runs SUPER hot. However, the CD-R/RW drive runs very stable, the battery holds well over 4:30 hours for me, and supports a tri-boot system fairly well. Good linux computer, non-mobile laptop. Not good for much else.
