worth every dollar December 25, 2008 Michael Matthew (usa ny) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
this laptop is excellent, first of all i installed vista ultimate 64 bit it kicks butt it runs great burning dvds and psp i did 4 different things at onetime while burning a dvd 4 important things i did to keep this computer running great or any vista running great, this product is a must becouse vista registry is very corrupt ,max registry cleaner, tune up utilities 2009,spybot abelsoft autojet disk defragment, these 4 progams will keep vista running at top performance plus i hooked up a 24 inch monitor that has 1900 resolution and tapped into the radeon video card and tweaked it some the color is as good as a plasma and blue ray disk tv 3d graphics are great but i use cyberlinkpower dvd ultimate that has great features and awesome color you can tweak this is one computer out of 5 i have and its perfomance is almost just as good as as my custom 6,000.00 desktop i have built that has xp professional on it,dont be fooled by the price ,it is a great laptop

Love this tablet to the fullest. Highly equiped, true mobility, on-time delivery. Ordered 2 units for myself and a friend. A very good buy and top among tablets.
Love it December 18, 2008 Martial Arts Damsel (Cypress, Texas United States) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Beautiful efficient and loaded with features but a little slower than I anticipated. It has to be tweaked a bit to increase boot up speed.Touch screen aspect works well and size promotes portability. Battery life could be better too but overall a great product in terms on convenience and cost effectiveness.
it was definitely not what i was expected December 3, 2008 Jane A (Ny,USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
i was looking for smth light and small to be able to carry it around.Yes,it's small and looks perfect, but it's pretty heavy. When i got this laptop first i was in love,it seems like perfectly shaped and just perfect laptop ive ever seen.it has a lot of nice features and programs, but when i started to use it,it turns that it has a lot of problems.first thing that the screen was freezing all the time,it takes time to open a regular folder,if i decided to open 2 folders at the same time, forget it,it would freeze and would be easier just to restart the whole computer..yes!restart!i had to restart my laptop like 10 times a day..and guess what?after 2months hard drive broke up.it's unbelievable.i'm pretty sure i could buy something much better and not less beautiful for this amount of money ,because again...i love this laptop's look. the only good thing is i got warranty for it and didnt have any other choice than send it back to the company for repairing...i'm very disappointed, after 2 months it doesnt work.it is just not worth it.
Not quite perfect, but better than most December 2, 2008 K. Andrews 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this laptop for my husband who travels a lot. He really like the way the screen can swivel around and even be laid down flush on top of the keyboard. The power on button does not work, so he figured out to use the DVD button. We'll probably send it in for repair before the warranty is up because the power button really should work. The fingerprint scanner works fine for us, but I found the placement of it to be a bit odd, probably due to the swivel screen. The fingerprint scanner button on my HP laptop is located in the lower right corner below the keyboard. But, on this one it's located on the side of the screen. Although some have complained that this laptop runs hot, I did not find it to run overly hot compared to other laptops I have owned. Regardless, we use a usb powered notebook cooling fan under it and it says cool all the time now. The pen tablet is a nice feature, and I'd personally like to use it more, but my husband always has this computer so I don't get to use it very often. The built in wireless works perfectly, and we have 4 connnections stored. It automatically connects to the right one each time. Conveniently, this computer fits into his glove compartment, but we have big cars so I doubt it would fit into many glove compartments. The best part about this computer is that it's so small and lightweight. If you're looking for a fully functioning laptop, this will fit the bill far better than an eec netbook. It has the hard drive capacity and ram to run large programs, and performs just as well as our home computer and 17" inch HP laptop that were purchased around the same time.
