Average Mouse December 31, 2008 Tony Chang Overall, the product is average. I used this on a desktop, and sometimes when using the mouse that it is not very smooth. If you find good deal for VX Nano, I would go for it even though it's $10 to $20 more.

Great Logitech Mouse December 16, 2008 Syctherius (New Jersey) I use this mouse for schoolwork and casual gaming on my Macbook. It's ergonomic, very durable, and doesn't feel cheap. The mouse works well on many surfaces without a mouse pad and is very precise. The price is reasonable compared to other cordless mice, especially with the rebate. The battery life is amazing. I have been using this mouse for about 6 months now and I have not replaced the batteries. My previous mouse was a Kensington mouse and I had to replace the batteries every 3 months. I love that there is a slot where I can slip the receiver into the mouse and just pack it up and go. One thing I noticed though is on rare occasions when I plug my receiver into my USB hub and my mouse and the receiver are several feet far apart and "cannot visually see each other," the mouse sometimes doesn't respond well. But a solution around that is that I always plug the receiver directly into my Macbook's USB. Overall, I highly recommend this Logitech mouse because of its great quality and price.
Small and Efficient Travelling Companion December 3, 2008 John P. Richardson (Colorado Springs, CO) I bought this little unit about six months ago for use with my laptop while traveling. I got tired of screwing with the tangle-prone cord on the mini mouse I had been using. The unit is small and weighted perfectly when the battery is in it. It's precise enough for what I want to do on the road: web surfing, e-mail and light gaming. Notice I said light gaming. Using this for something like battling in WoW would result in some pitiful showings. The precision of the laser just isn't there. But again, serious gaming isn't what this mouse is about. And yes, Linux users, it works just fine with your favorite distro. The only knock-down on the mouse is the battery life. The ad says up to 1 year of use. Yeah, not so much. I get about 45 days straight use out of a battery, rechargeable or regular. This is noticeably shorter than the MouseMan Optical I have. So if you are someone who travels with a computer, this is a fine choice for your mousing needs.
very happy December 1, 2008 Michael Hall this mouse works great it has a long range and seems not to eat up batteries
